Get to know the Radon Environmental Team
Rich became an expert on the subject of indoor air in the 80’s, publishing Radon News Digest, a national newsletter. His radon lab was one of the first EPA-accredited radon labs in the nation. Since founding Radon Environmental in 1988, this family owned business has mitigated over 7,000 homes and businesses.
Kathy is involved in all aspects of managing the REI office. She handles everything from customer service and bookkeeping, to personnel issues. Kathy is dedicated to making sure things run smoothly and that all customers receive the service they deserve.
Chris has been around the construction industry since he was a freshman at Carmel High School. At Carmel, he was involved in the Construction Trades program, and before graduating; he had already built 4 homes from the ground up. He attended Purdue University’s Construction Management School and built over 200 homes and commercial buildings prior to joining REI. Chris has a passion to get radon levels as low as possible each time he installs a system.
Jerod has been involved with estimating and customer service ever since growing up in his family’s business in Portland, Oregon. He understands the stress created by the discovery of radon in one’s home, and tries to alleviate that stress through education and great customer service. At REI, it is Jerod’s responsibility to help clients understand the process of radon remediation; prepare bid proposals; and meet our customers’ scheduling needs.
